Terms and Conditions

Introduction

The website wladirigato.com (henceforth the Website or Site) is operated by “Wladi Rigato” company (henceforth the Company) and it is the exclusive online retailer of the trademark “Wladi Rigato”.

Considered that the Website offers the entire selection of shoes and other accessories marked as “Wladi Rigato” (all of them made of high-quality raw materials), it guarantees the customer (henceforth the Customer) the authenticity of the products.

The purchase of items offered on wladirigato website is subject to the present Terms and Conditions. All the Terms and Conditions will be considered accepted at the closing of the purchase contract (henceforth the Contract) between the Company and the Customer.

Contracting Parties

The present contract that regulates the use of the Site and the shop included, is considered stipulated between:

Products and Availability

Wladi Rigato is a brand that organized its manufacturing process to eliminate any overproduction and that produces any of the items of the different collections after a purchase contract is closed.

For this reason all the products can be classified as “Custom-Made” and “Made-to-Order” products.

Custom-Made products

Any custom made products is manufactured on the basis of the choices of each client. Any Client can decide and choose all the product’s characteristics foreseen inside the purchasing and configuration process. In compliance with current regulations, returns are not foreseen for Custom-Made products.

The Custom-Made products are foreseen to be manufactured and shipped within 15 working days. In any case the Company can increase the shipping time.

Made-to-Order Products

Made-to-Order items are manufactured on the basis of a variable configuration available on the Site. Made-to-Order products can’t be returned and for this reason we suggest, for the first purchase relevant to a last, to contact us and book an appointment or ask for a Trial Pair. The Trial Pair service is available in Europe only.

Made-to-Order products are foreseen to be manufactured and shipped within 3 working days. In any case the Company reserves to increase the shipping time.

Packaging

Our shoes are packed in boxes and re-packed in plastic bags to protect the original box. More information relevant to the packaging can be found in the dedicated Packaging page.

Characteristics of the Products

A photograph is an image of an object captured in a certain light condition. When photographing, shoes and other items are illuminated in particular conditions as: neutral studio lights, natural light and neutral camera settings. Moreover pictures are processed by professional photographers i order to improve their quality.

The shoes and other items, intended as actual items, are mainly crafted utilizing natural materials as leather and, sometimes, the items can present color variations between the web images and the actual object. This possible eventuality is independent of the high quality of the manufacturing process and high quality of the materials.

In addition all our items are custom-made or made-to-order therefore a certain level of difference between the digital catalogue and the actual goods is natural because the catalogue is made only once and the manufactured items are maintained updated and every time they are produced we can improve details and other characteristics.

For these reasons any claims regarding the colors of the products or other differences compared to the pictures will not be accepted.

Your Account

Registering an account in our website is an option and therefore it is not a necessary step in the purchasing process. In any case registering an account in our Website is suggested in order to improve tracking and the status of an order or access orders history. Moreover, saving billing, shipping address and contact information future purchases will be carried out faster.

Cancellation of an Order

Considering that our production is exclusively dedicated to custom-made and mate-to-order items, the cancellation of an order is not foreseen, and in any case, it is dependent to the verification of the effective status of the order.
In order to ask for the cancellation of an order the Customer shall contact the Company strictly by email (info@wladirigato.com) specifying the cancellation request, the motivation (if possible) and the relevant order identification number.
The Company will stop the execution of the order and it will reply to the Customer email explaining the status of the order and the cost due for the cancellation. The company will wait for the decision of the Customer about the cancellation of the order to be communicated by email. In the meantime the order is considered frozen and this period won’t be considered a delay in charge of the Company for the consequent increase of the shipping and delivery time.
The cancellation expenses will be deducted from the refund in case of confirmed cancellation. No costs will be charged if no activities have started. Possible administrative expenses could be charged depending on the payment method and other administrative aspects. In any case the minimum fee to be paid for a cancellation request is 10,00 Euro independently of the confirmation of the cancellation.

Prices and Currency

All prices published on this website and on the invoices are expressed in Euro. The Company only accept payments in this currency.

The Website displays all the prices including 22% VAT (Value Added Tax) for EU individual Customers. The VAT is charged only on orders placed by individual Customers with shipping destinations in the European Union.

Non-EU customers will be charged the price excluding any taxes, import duties, customs and local sales taxes imposed directly by their country.

Shipping costs depend on the shipping address and are listed during the Checkout process.
The Company reserves the right to cancel an order due to possible restrictions relevant to the shipping destination or other discretion.

Taxes and Duties

If the Customer is ordering from a non-EU country, or in general where applicable, he is responsible for import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by his country.

Please note that taxes, duties and charges will be invoiced to you and levied by the courier services or by your local post service or by your Customs Office.

The Customer is moreover informed that, in case of return of goods, customs duties and local taxes will not be refunded by the Company.

Moreover, in case of returns of goods, the customer could be charged of customs duties and local taxes relevant to the re-importation.

Payment Methods

For orders placed via our website the Company offers the following payment methods:

  • PAYPAL (only for PAYPAL account owners). When selecting to checkout with PayPal, the Customer will be redirected towards the PayPal website to make the payment. The Company reserves the right to reject an order and the relevant payment if it is not eligible for the Paypal Seller Protection.
  • CREDIT CARD (managed by PAYPAL). Once selected to checkout with PayPal, the Customer will be redirected towards the PayPal website to make the payment with accepted credit cards. The Company reserves the right to reject an order and the relevant payment if it is not eligible for the Paypal Seller Protection.
  • GPay.

Shipping and Delivery

The delivery time and costs depend on the destination and on the shipping option chosen at the purchasing.
The shipping is limited to a maximum weight of 5kg per single order.
The Company reserves the right to cancel an order due to possible restrictions relevant to the shipping destination or other discretion.

Limited to PayPal payment method, the Company assumes that the shipping address communicated by the Customer is the same of Customer PayPal account. If different the Company reserves the right to reject an order and the relevant payment.

In case of damaged packaging the Customer shall inform the courier immediately and send the Company an email with a picture showing the damage.

The shipping and delivery costs are to be considered always in charge to the Customer. If the Company decides to offer free shipping and delivery costs as parts of any specific promotional campaign, it will remain in charge of the Customer:

  • all the customs duties and local taxes;
  • all the shipping costs, customs duties, re-importation costs and local taxes in case of return.

Returns and Refunds

The Company foresees Return and Refund limited to faulty items. In any case the good the refund is asked for shall be returned.

The Customer is informed that, in case of return of goods, all the shipping costs, customs duties and local taxes will not be refunded by the Company.

Moreover, in case of returns of goods, the customer could be charged of customs duties and local taxes relevant to the re-importation.

In any case the refund of an item shall be carried out following the instruction in the section “How to Initiate and carry out a Refund Request”.

Made-to-measure

Made-to-measure, bespoke, custom-made and customized products are not eligible to be returned and refunded.

Returns and refunds are foreseen only in case on faulty items. In order to assure the level of quality appropriate for our products, the Customer is informed that all items are checked and photographed in order to prevent unfounded claims.

All the shipping expenses and customs duties remains in charge of the Customers who decide to return the items.

Made-to-order

Made-to-order items are not eligible to be returned and refund limited for faulty items.

Items must be returned new and unused. All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface avoid flexing your feet to keep the leather free from making pleats at the vamps. For the shoes with marked soles or any other visible signs of wearing it will not be accepted to be returned. Make sure you return all items that have been shipped to you along with the shoes.

How to Initiate and carry out a Refund Request

If the Customer ask for a refund relevant to an order, he shall contact the Company in advance via email (info@wladirigato.com) providing order number.

The Company will analyze the request received and it will communicate to the Customer about his request. The company reserves the right to refuse the Customer’s request if not compliant with the Terms and Conditions.

Returns shipments are entirely in charge and under the responsibility of the Customer. If return gets lost or damaged in transit, the Customer will be liable for the value of the items and, therefore, The Company will not be able to refund the money back. Therefore, it is recommended to choose a secure traceable shipment to return purchased items back and to insure the contents of the shipment.

The shipment costs for returning goods shall be covered by the Customer. In cases of a faulty item refund, the Company will refund a limited amount of the customer’s return shipping costs. The refunded costs will correspond to the base shipping option available in the Site at the moment of the purchase.

The Company shall receive the return request within 14 days from the delivery of the parcel as per the Company’s carrier documentation.

Faulty Items

All items are controlled and checked for any possible faults before shipping in order to avoid shipments of faulty products. Nevertheless, if the Customer believe he has been supplied with a faulty or damaged item, he shall contact the Company in advance via email providing order, invoice number and explaining with photos the specific problem.

Used items cannot be refund.

Amount of Refund

Returns shipments are entirely in charge and under the responsibility of the Customer. If return gets lost or damaged in transit, the Customer will be liable for the value of the items and, therefore, the Company will not be able to refund the money back. Therefore, it is recommended to choose a secure traceable shipment to return purchased items back and to insure the contents of the shipment.

For non-EU Customers, and in any case in presence of customs, the Company will not refund any taxes, customs duties and any other charges claimed by the Customs Authorities of the Customer’s country.

If the Customer’s claim relevant to a faulty item will be accepted, the Company will refund the entire value of the product paid to the Company and the shipping costs equivalent to the base Italian Postal shipping option.
Any losses that are caused by currency fluctuations will not be refunded.

Time to Be Refunded

The Company will refund the Customer within 14 working days after the delivery of the items at the Company premises.

Closing of the contract

The Closing of the Contract occurs when the money to be paid by the Customer will be available on the bank, PayPal or any other account of the Company. Once the Customer orders an item from the Website he will receive an automatic reply. One the money will be on the availability of the Company the Customer will be sent a purchase confirmation.
